Fine Art Editions Gallery and Press is located in the heart of historic Georgetown, Kentucky at 146 East Main Street. We are located just 3 mile north of the Kentucky Horse Park.
As a complete publishing and printmaking house, art gallery, and custom frame shop. This is the studio of artist John Stephen Hockensmith. Hockensmith is known around the world as an equine photographer, for his artistic skill as a printmaker, an author and businessman.
Hockensmith Photographics Inc. has historically been a regional commercial and portrait photography studio, our regional photographer uses the same facilities to provide high standard to all photographic assignments large and small. Wedding Photography

Event Photography
If you are having an event that you would like photographed, from birthday parties to graduations to retirement parties we can help you capture the memories. Our photographers will work with you on every aspect of how you would like the event covered. We have the skills and talent to get the photographs you want no matter what the event is.
Portrait Photography
Here at Hockensmith Photographics our goal is to please our customers. We want you to know that your satisfaction is guaranteed. We have several different packages for you to choose from. If your individual needs do not exactly fit into one of our packages, please just let us know and we will accommodate all of your needs.
Senior Portraits
Your session is a 1.5 hour photo shoot that includes in studio and location portraits with 3 to 4 changes of clothes. Feel free to bring props that tell who you are such as, cars, trophies, sports equipment, pets, etc. These images will be displayed in an elegant 12 proof leather portfolio that is yours to keep along with contact sheets for you to view. This also includes a wallet for your yearbook. If you are a Scott County High student we will even take care of getting it to the school for you. All you have to do is tell us which pose you would like in your yearbook and we will take care of the rest.
Business/Professional Portraits
Hockensmith Photographics offers an affordable way to look professional on your business cards or in business ads. There is no extra sitting fee involved and we usually only need appointments made a day in advance. Let us help make your business prosper!
Sports Photography
Hockensmith Photographics has been shooting sports teams in Scott County for over 20 years, we have the experience, skills, and staff to make the process easy and efficient. Whether you need a studio that can be available to shoot 60 teams in a day or slow it down and shoot your team up close and personal we are the premier sports photography studio in Georgetown. This year we are offering digital favorites like trading cards, magazine covers, and memory mates.
Pet Photography
Our studio is pet friendly and we love helping your best friends show who they really are. Our goal is to the the portrait that really captures your pet's personality and character. Feel free to bring your pets of all shapes and sizes and even props to make them feel at home.
